		<description>What helps me sleep is working hard all day long and knowing I have to get up and do it all over again. 

What helps anyone NOT sleep is eating right before bed time, especially heavier meals. The digestive tract starts slowing down between 7pm and midnight, and many people are eating their final meals of the day between that time. By midnight I believe (correct me if I&#039;m wrong) the digestive system pretty much slows to a crawl or shuts down entirely. So, if you have eaten heavily it will not make for good sleep, because your brain is aware that something is going on in the stomach but can&#039;t do anything about it.

Another thing that really helps me fall asleep if I am restless is using cream or ointment and massaging my feet vigorously, sometimes even painfully. By the time I&#039;ve done that I get very sleepy, and I know other people have had success with that too.
